The National Pet College has approved dog grooming training centres located at various points in the UK where you can learn how to be a City & Guilds qualified dog groomer.

NPC's training schools focus on delivering the training and assessment for the City & Guilds qualfications, with the administration involved in the qualifications being undertaken by the National Pet College as the City & Guilds Approved Centre.

City & Guilds have long been established as the industry standard when it comes to dog groomer qualifications. The qualification has been developed by dog groomers and honed over many years to continue to offer a broad-based curriculum which combines underpinning, theoretical knowledge with commercially important practical styling experience to give you the best platform from which to launch your dog grooming career.

Students undertake the Level 2 7863-2 Dog Grooming Assistant qualification, followed by the Level 3 7863-3 Professional Diploma for Dog Grooming Stylists. Both of these can be undertaken at our training centres.
